 Billy is the new leadership we need in Baton Rouge to work with our new Governor to move Louisiana forward.

 Billy is committed to the community and the state to find solutions to the issues that continue to plague the west bank and to get the economy moving forward.

Our State Budget has Tripled in the last 12 years.  We need to reduce your taxes and spend the taxpayer’s dollars more wisely. 

This will be a priority for Billy Arnold.

The following issues must be addressed if we want to grow the economy of the west bank and

Protect the Value of your Home.  

 Crime

The 70058 zip code has the highest crime statistics in Jefferson Parish.  Louisiana is ranked #1 in the total number of homicide victims (per capita) in the country.   Billy will introduce legislation to provide Law Enforcement the tools needed to curb crime in our region.

Traffic

Traffic on Manhattan at the West Bank Expressway has been an issue for a long time.  The residents of this district need additional access roads from Lapalco Blvd. to both the Expressway and Belle Chasse Hwy.

Insurance

The insurance industry must be overhauled.  We need to encourage more providers to sell in our state in an effort to create competition among insurance companies.

Flood Protection

The Gretna/Harvey side of the Harvey Canal must be secured.  I will continue work with Parish and Federal Government Leaders to ensure the project is completed in a timely manner and the solution will provide the protection we deserve.
